Adopting A Friend
For your convenience you may download a copy of our Companion Animal Adoption Application from our website
by clicking here, please fill this form out and bring it with you. Copies are avalible at our shelter as well. We require an adoption contract to be signed and have a $90.00
adoption fee for dogs and $25.00 fee for altered cats, $50.00 for unaltered cats. If the pet has not already been altered (spayed or neutered) at the time of the adoption, we will reimburse $25.00 of the adoption fee upon written confirmation that the pet has been altered by a licensed veterinarian.
We require that all animals leaving our shelter
be properly contained. Dogs and puppies must have a collar and leash, cats and
kittens must be in a suitable carrier such as a small crate, pet taxi or a
sturdy cardboard carrier or box with air holes. We encourage all adopters to come to our shelter
prepared. Leashes and collars are available for a small monetary donation and we
occasionally have cat carriers as well.
Included In The Adoption Fee At No Extra Cost:
All of our animals are given their routine shots and have been de-wormed. All cats and kittens have been tested for Feline leukemia virus (FeLV), Feline Immundeficiency virus (FIV) and Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP).
